About our meetup

Dive into the next chapter of software development. As AI agents move from copilots to autonomous contributors, understanding code at scale becomes the new bottleneck. We’ll explore how teams are turning codebases into research engines - and production issues into self-healing systems.

Agenda

17:30 — 18:00

Gathering: Pizza & drinks

18:00 — 18:45

Guy Bary
Engineering, Wix. Octocode Creator

From Code Search to AI-Powered Research Engine

AI agents are only as good as the context they can see. Without real code intelligence, they guess, and guess wrong.

Octocode started as a simple GitHub search tool and evolved into a full research platform that gives AI agents (and humans) the power to search, trace, and understand code across entire organizations in seconds.

In this session, Guy Bary will demonstrate how Octocode works as a daily research companion from searching code across hundreds of repos, to tracing call hierarchies, understanding complex repositories, reviewing changes, and brainstorming.

He will present the capabilities (tools and skills) and how to use them day to day to get better context when coding and researching.

18:45 — 19:00

Break

19:00 — 19:45

Israel Zablianov
Engineering Team Lead, Wix

Self-Healing Software: From User Complaint to Pull Request, Autonomously

A user complains. Support triages. Weeks pass. A ticket finally lands on your board, buried under a dozen others.

Context-switching kills your flow, and half the tickets turn out to be duplicates Bug Hunt eliminates that entire gap. It's an autonomous system that monitors user complaints in real time, identifies real bugs using AI, researches them with production data and codebase analysis, generates a fix via a coding agent, and reviews the PR.

All before a ticket would even reach R&D through the traditional flow.

In this talk, Israel Zablianov will walk through the architecture, the context engineering that makes AI-generated fixes actually useful, and how this system shrinks bug resolution from weeks to hours so you can focus on building features instead of firefighting.
